I would like to express my personal thanks to Theresa May for her time as Prime Minister and leader of the Conservative Party. She has shown tenacity, strength, courage and resilience no matter what was thrown at her. Time will show that she will be a hard act to follow and her successor will, I believe, find that Parliament is faced with an intractable problem to which there is no simple solution .
