Post Bank at the Post Office

North Thanet`s MP, Roger Gale, has backed growing calls for a Post Bank at the Post Office.
​
Following the wave of Post Office closures that has hit East Kent and failures in the banking system the creation of a Post Bank would bring new business to post offices and provide trusted banking in communities.
Roger said:
"The Post Office is historically one of our trusted and cherished institutions. It makes sense to introduce a Post Bank and, at a time when many people feel let down by some High Street banks, to allow Post Offices to provide a much wider range of financial services. I believe that a Post Bank would greatly strengthyen the Post Office network and bring valuable services to communities and to small businesses"
