Futures For Heroes – MP`s Visit
​
North Thanet`s MP, Sir Roger Gale, has today (Monday 13th January) visited the Futures for Heroes HQ on the Westwood Industrial Estate, Thanet, to meet with co-founders Jo Gideon and Linda Jones and clients and supporters of the project .

Roger learned that the initiative is designed to help to bridge the gap between serving men and women who need assistance and those who have left the armed forces who find themselves in desperate need of help with housing and employment.

Speaking at the Unit 5 site the MP said:

“Futures for Heroes is exactly what it says on the tin. It is a young but extremely worthwhile initiative designed to help veterans, mostly but not exclusively of recent conflicts (Falklands, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan) who are considerably in need of comradeship and a helping hand. It deserves the fullest possible support”.
