I want to say thank you to all of the postmen and women, in North Thanet and nationwide. You have all been working so hard throughout these very difficult times!

The Royal Mail is asking everyone to show their appreciation for their local postie by giving them a ‘thumbs up’ - from a safe two metres distance, which is just over the height of a postbox.

​

The initiative is a simple way for everyone to say “thank you” and stay connected with their local postmen and women, while respecting the Government’s social distancing rules. Giving a “thumbs up” is also a handy reminder not to reach out to try and take parcels directly from postmen and women.
