Sir Roger Gale a staunch friend of Cyprus

Conservative MP Sir Roger Gale, a staunch friend of Cyprus over the years, who works for a lasting and viable solution for the Cyprus problem, for all its citizens on the island, following his recent re-election had a meeting with his personal friend British-Cypriot Doros Partasides.

Having discussed the help from the British-Cypriot community of Margate during the last general election, they also exchanged views as to new ways of promoting the Cyprus problem in short and long term. As it is well known Mr. Gale has been active with the Cyprus issue for 32 years

 

The British MP assured Mr. Partasides of his intention to un initiate a series of initiatives through the Conservative Government aiming to keep the Cyprus issue alive on the political agenda of the country. Mr. Gale also mentioned that he has already tabled a question to the Education Secretary as regards the issue of the scrapping of the Greek A Level.

It should be noted that Sir Roger Gale has been honoured by the title of Honorary citizen of the occupied Municipality of Morphou town which has been twinned with Barnet Council.
